From the office to beauty. From insecurity to freedom
I didn’t know at first that I would choose this path.
But now I know for sure that it had been inside me for a long time: the love for aesthetics, the precision in details, the desire to create beauty.
I completed a Master’s in Economics and worked in an office, living a safe and predictable life.
But eyelash extensions – which I discovered as just a client – awakened something in me: a sense of presence, femininity, and confidence.
Life brought me to Germany, into a long-distance relationship that became a home.
I had no idea what I would do there. I didn’t know the language.
But I knew I didn’t want to live a life in which I wasn’t creating anything.
A simple chat with my lash artist changed everything. I took my first lash extension course full of fear, but with all my heart. It wasn't easy. My tweezers kept slipping, my hands were trembling, and I felt like this wasn't meant for me.
But I didn't give up. I practiced. I learned. I worked hard. And I understood a truth that stays with me to this day: It's not talent that makes the difference. It's consistency, passion, and attitude.
I started my career in a foreign country, in an unfamiliar language, in a completely new field.
And in just a few months, I moved out on my own and built a salon from scratch in Mannheim.
No client base. No team. Just determination.
Five months later, my schedule was full.
Years of work, clients, gratitude, and stability followed.
I became a mother. Twice. I took breaks, but I never stopped.
This profession has given me more than just an income:
It has given me freedom. Purpose. Identity.
